Hello everyone, I missed last months corner. Well since my last one we have had alot going on, first was Shihan 's seminar. Shihan was pleased with everyone, he said to let you all know that he is happy with everyone's progress.One thing he said was that we need to keep our hands up when we are fighting.I hope you all enjoyed the time with him also, also we need to work on our speed.Practice practice practice!

 Our camp was great! Everyone worked so hard, I and the Blackbelts are proud of all of you. All of you learned alot, remember you have to practice the stuff you learned. The weather was great, a litle cold on tuesday and wensday mornings, but it felt nice. The talent show was great, I didn't know you guys had all those talents.Everyone of you should be so proud of yourselves for coming to camp and working so hard.Alot of good memories and hopefully some good friendships will come from camp. All of you who went on the Bushido run worked hard on it, amaze yourself as to what you can do. Hopefully next year all of you will attend again.

Our Shiai is in one week, I hope all of you have been working hard to get ready. It will Kumite day, make sure you get into the dojo and work on getting ready for the day.

We have about 15 students signed up for the Orlando tournament on May 31st. Make sure you are working on your tounament Kata. We will have a good time up there. Some of us will be going up on friday night and staying until sunday. Please let me know if you are interested in staying up there, so we make plans.

July 18th some of us will be going to Daytona for the Kiai tournament, it will be an all isshinryu Tournament only. I have had several people tell me that they will be going. I will have sign up sheet in the dojo soon. The following weekend will be going to Gatlinburg, Tenn for the Isshin ryu Hall of Fame tournament. We have started getting cabins for the trip. please let me know as soon as possible if you will be going. Maybe some of you can share a cabin with each other, it will cut down the cost for everyone. We have always had a good time up there, and have done well at the tournament. More information to follow soon. But please make your decision soon about it.
